The Marcellus Shale Education & Training Center hosted the Second Annual Marcellus Shale Workforce Forum in the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona. The goal of this two-day event was to focus on Marcellus Shale development and its impact on workforce and education. Educators from secondary schools, two-year technical schools, and four-year colleges and universities were joined by representatives from oil and gas exploration, production, and service companies.
