The success with which the partners of this grant can provide natural gas employers with willing and able candidates relies upon the quality of training delivered. To this end, ShaleNET will implement a network of certified training providers and certified instructors who offer high-quality instruction based on pre-developed standardized curriculum approved by industry to impart knowledge and skills utilizing appropriate equipment in an environment conducive to learning. Every aspect of the training program will be routinely evaluated by employers in the natural gas industry to make certain workforce needs are met.

Standard curriculum for the six high priority occupations was developed and endorsed by the industry with roll out currently underway.

Certified training providers and their ShaleNET-related course offerings will be posted on this site for interested candidates and employers. It is the intent of ShaleNET partners to have all certified training providers identified and offering some or all programs beginning in February 2012.
